Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University with the joint collaboration of Blekinge Institute of Technology (BIT), Swedan has launched a new M.Tech course in Signal Processing at civil engineering department on Saturday. Students with B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or any other equivalent qualification are eligible for admission into this dual degree four semester course.
According to the JNTU vice chancellor, Mr Allam Apparao, the students who join this course have to study the first semester at JNTU, Kakinada and the remaining semesters at BIT, Swedan. The practical training would be imparted at some of the world’s best companies like ABB and SAAB-Ericsson. The tuition fee towards the course is Rs 1.25 lakh and no additional fees will be collected from BIT University. In this dual degree program the students will be issued with M.Tech degree by JNTU and MSc by BIT.
