Yaskawa-kun: First robot to sell ice cream on its own

Robots are not the things from the future anymore, they are present in our lives, and they take a bigger role in them with each day. We saw that robots can look like us, smile, talk or even act like us. Some of them are even capable of lifting objects while others can play instruments, so the question is can robots replace humans?

I’m positive that robots might replace humans one day and in fact we even got one example that comes from Japan. From the company named Yaskawa, here comes the first robot that will replace humans workers in a ice cream shop. This robot is currently working in Tokyo Summerland and it will replace human workers until August 22. This robot looks appealing to the children and it makes and serves ice cream on its own. This robot is called Yaskawa-kun, and in order to buy ice cream from him you’ll have to choose your flavor and size via a touchscreen and after that you’ll just have to sit and watch how Yaskawa-kun prepares your ice cream.

Besides Yaskawa, people behind Yaskawa-kun are a major Japanese bank and a leading advertising agency. Manufactures are looking forward to the future improvements and they are hoping that they’ll sell more of those in the future.

Yaskawa-kun looks practical and so far it has managed to replace a human worker. We’ll see what future holds for Yaskawa-kun, after August 22 when human workers are replaced entirely by robots.
Wowy now we have to purchase ice-creams from robots. Isn't it great step in human technology??
